Coordinate Travel LLC (“Coordinate,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the coordinate.travel website and application (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Information We Collect

Account information

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. When you sign in with a magic link, we collect only your email address. We store this information to identify your account and personalize the Service.

Trip and booking data

We store the trips, itineraries, notes, and booking details you create or import through the Service. This data belongs to you and is used solely to provide the Service.

Forwarded email content

Coordinate provides an email forwarding address (e.g., trip-xxxxxxxx@in.coordinate.travel). When you forward a booking confirmation or travel email to this address, we receive the full email content — subject, body, sender, and any attachments — and use it to extract trip and booking details for your itinerary. We do not read your general inbox; we only process emails you explicitly forward to this address.

Usage data

We collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) to operate and improve the Service.

How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • To send transactional emails (magic-link sign-in, notifications).
  • To extract trip details from emails you forward to us.
  • To respond to your support requests.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising.

Third-Party Services

We share data with the following service providers only to the extent necessary to operate the Service:

  • Google — identity provider for Google sign-in (Google Privacy Policy).
  • Resend — transactional email delivery (magic links, notifications).
  • OpenRouter — AI model routing used to extract trip details from forwarded emails and to power AI-assisted planning features. Email content you forward to us may be sent to OpenRouter for processing.
  • Render — cloud infrastructure hosting the API and background workers.
  • Vercel — cloud infrastructure hosting the web application.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account data and trip data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS, encrypted credentials storage, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
